Before I even start this post, I want to say that I'm so dumb to destroy the lipstick before I even got to take a picture of it. That's the saddest day of my life, just kidding. Haha. So forgive me if the lipstick is not as pretty as it should be. Okay, so today I'll be reviewing Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Barely There.
You can get the Sleek True Colour Lipsticks in Sleek makeup counters nationwide or in Zalora for around P 400.00 - P 500.00. The lipstick's finish is sheen, but some of the shades from the collection has matte finishes.
Let's enumerate first the things I love about this lipstick. One, it's so travel friendly as it's so small and light that it would even fit your pocket. I also love the rubbery packaging, it looks really sleek. The inner packaging is made of plastic making it light. Next, the shade name really reflected the real shade. It's somewhat peachy to coral that resembles the lips' color. On the tube, I love the lipstick's shade. It looks like an MLBB shade.
However, there are things I hate about it too. First is that it's so sheer. Even after 2 to 3 swipes, it still didn't cover my lips. If I swipe it even more, the color will be swept away. Next, the sheen finish made my lips looked like my lips were so wet. I don't know, maybe the shade is just not for me.
The lipstick didn't last long too. Since I drink a lot, it only lasted for around an hour then I needed to reapply again. That's so much of a hassle. The lipstick transferred so much on my glass as well. I am really disappointed.
Would I repurchase? Definitely not. It will be a complete waste of money. I may try the matte versions though, but I'm not that sure. The Barely There shade is just a 2 out of 5 for me.
Have you tried other shades from the true colour collection that have sheen finishes? How did it perform?
