Banapple Greenhills |
How's your weekend so far? Kami, we're spending it at home with our baby boy, eating lots of foods. Speaking of food, I want to share our experience dining in Banapple Greenhills.
After playing badminton with Paulo one day, we headed to Banapple to eat dinner. I've been to Banapple a lot of times before, but Paulo haven't tried it yet.
Books on display |
The building where Banapple is located is somewhat lonely that Sunday. There were few stores opened and there were few people coming at the place. I'm not sure what's the situation on weekdays. Anyway, upon entering Banapple, you would notice the children's books that are for display only. I find it cute but I wish we could open the books.

We ordered 2 main dishes and a dessert. I'm warning you that the serving here is huge! I ordered Pan Fried Porkloin with Herb Mushroom Gravy. The pork breading is crispy which I liked. The pork itself is huge, I didn't finish eating it all. The mushroom gravy is what I liked the most. It lessened the saltiness of the pork; it would be salty without the gravy. There's a slight pinch of herb on top which gave a slight bitter taste.

On the other hand, Paulo ordered Barbecue Ribs, which he didn't finish as well due to the amount of serving. The meat is not pork ribs, but pure pork meat off the bone. It tasted really good with the right amount of sweetness and saltiness. There was a generous amount of sauce too!
For dessert, we ordered apple caramel crumble pie. It was huge as well. It literally crumbles when you slice it. Good thing it has lots of apples in it, so apple lovers would really like this one. You can have it cold or warm, but for us we like it warm. The apples were soft and sweet. You might find it so sweet when you finish the whole slice, so I think it would be better if you share it. The caramel sauce added to the sweetness. The base tasted great too.

They also sell cakes and breads for take out. They sell shirts too!

For less than P700.00, the two of use were really really full, considering that we were so hungry when we went here. If you want to eat a lot yet don't want to spend that much, you should try eating in Banapple. The taste wouldn't disappoint I promise.
I would rate this restaurant a 5 out of 5. It's really worth the money and the visit.
Any good restaurant that you can recommend?
