WARNING: This would be a photo-loaded post.
To celebrate my BF (now husband) and I's 2 years of being together (again. haha), we decided to have a 3d2n trip to Caramoan, Camarines Sur. We spent months preparing for the trip and it was really really worth it. To lessen the hassle, we contacted Mr. Jun of The Traveler's Camp to arrange our accommodation, food, and island hopping.
What we had to think of was the travel going to and back from Caramoan. Through research, we found our way how. We chose to ride a bus going to Naga (P600.00 - P700.00) each. Upon reaching Naga, we ate breakfast and rode a Van going to Sabang port. Waiting for the van to be full messed our itinerary up. We waited for 1 hour to be full, and we traveled 1 and a half hours going to Sabang port. Hence, we didn't catch the boat. We waited again for hours and left Sabang port at 11 am.
Boat to Guijalo port |
We traveled 2 hours on boat just to reach Guijalo port. The port was nothing fancy. Upon reaching the port, someone from The Traveler's Camp fetch us by tricycle. Note: The road would be bumpy, I mean super bumpy. That tricycle served as our service for our whole stay there.
Lunch!
|
Upon arriving at the place, Ms. Lyn greeted and welcomed us with their sumptuous lunch. The food served was really superb. If we weren't on a hurry, we would have eaten more. After eating lunch, we changed our clothes and went straight on to island hopping.
I wasn't able to take pictures of the 2 kuyas that guided us with our 2-day island hopping. The weather was quite gloomy and it was drizzling, so the ocean was a bit wavy. When we're near the islands, I was really scared of the waves. Glad the kuya said it was manageable.
First island |
We just took photos on the first island and went on to the next.
Second island |
This is where we stayed for a bit and swim. The water is surprisingly lukewarm even though it's drizzling.
And then this was the last island.
Sinigang na hipon, crab and squid rings for dinner |
These are what we had for dinner. It was heaven! They really gave huge servings.
We thought we couldn't pursue island hopping for the second day as it was raining hard during early morning. Luckily, it simmered down after a few hours. After having breakfast, we were then serviced to the port.
Our first stop was the Our Lady Church and statue. It was really a challenge going up the 500+ steps! We thought we couldn't make it. Just a tip, do not look down as it might be really scary and dizzy.
View from the top |
Getting to the top was really satisfying. Unfortunately, the church wasn't open that day.
Lunch day 2! |
We stayed in this island for lunch and swam after. It was so peaceful that afternoon that we wanted to sleep there. We felt like we owned the island. After hours of resting on this island, we then went on to our last stop.
This island is said to be the venue of Survivor Philippines.
Day 2 dinner |
Upon eating dinner, we were so sad that our vacation is about to end. And for our last day, we passed by their century-old church. It was fascinating and huge.
After that, we were then off to Guijalo port going back to Sabang port. We had our dinner in Naga and waited for our bus ride home. That was really a one-of-a-kind experience. We would definitely be back there and I hope it would be as beautiful as it is now.
Thank you Mr. Jun, Ms. Lyn and the other people there for such an awesome stay. If you want to book as well, you can contact Mr. Jun at 09178746437. We only spent P4500.00 each for the 3d2n stay with food and accommodation. The price would be cheaper if you travel with more people.
